Every time Windows 7 installs updates, the shortcuts to My Pictures and My Documents that I have created in the 'favorites' folder always disappears! I always have to recreate these shortcuts every time Windows installs updates to my computer.
This happens on all Windows 7 machines I have ever owned that I put those shortcuts in 'favorites'. Those are typically the machines that I used the 'disable libraries' registry hack on. So I can easily get to them. Or on my most used PC so I can quickly get to them from any folder.
It is getting rather annoying to have to create these shortcuts in 'favorites' time and time again every time Windows updates.
How do I make Windows stop removing these shortcuts every time there is an update? There is no need for Windows to do this! It is irritating
