I keep getting pop-ups that my BD AV blocked a port scan from IP 185.222.211.98!-

Should I report this, and if so to Who?

BTW- Uninstalling Buggy Norton IS (What a Hassle!)- Going to Fast BitDefender Internet Security 2018, was the best move I ever made!
Can't say much for their Slow Support (no USA phone), but their forum is pretty good.
If you decide to install this?- Download their .pdf, as making settings changes... is Much different
(B... first!).

If you're exposing a server over internet you WILL be scanned and attacked, many times per hour, possibly more too. It's the fact of internet, everything will be probed for vulnerabilities and if found, attacked.

What I don't get is how an antivirus could ever detect this. Or why does it bother informing you of an everyday condition of internet. Seems like a suspicious message at best instead of a legitimate warning.

The full blown Bitdefender has a firewall so that is not surprising. The FW is doing the reporting. The IP belongs to a system in England. Depending on how many pop-ups (i,e, are you getting Hammered? Thousands or hundreds of hits? I would change the settings to not show the pop-up. The Firewall is doing its job and telling you. Could also just be Internet Background Noise. Has the same IP done this repeatedly?
