Hello, I recently bought a Gateway laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium (x64) installed on it. Now I noticed that it will use more CPU % for simple things.

So I'm wondering should I stay with 64-bit or clean-install to 32-bit?

~=System Specifications
- AMD Turion(tm) X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-72, 2.1Ghz
- 3Gb DDR2 RAM
- 256Mb ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
- 250Gb HDD

Any other information needed then let me know, thanks in advanced.

~Steve

I hate myself for buying this laptop, the Graphics stink, getting new laptop soon! (hopefully, a Dv6t model from HP :D)
If you have 3gb of memory, you might want to just use 32 bit, but if you were to get more, say up to 4gb, you might stick with 64 bit. It may work better for you. But it may be other factors causing slower performance. You can read this tutorial, a lot of them still apply to 7. Some things might be worth trying.
