Should I use hybrid sleep on my laptop?

On my laptop, the drive is encrypted with TrueCrypt and I don't know whether it is better to have my PC set to sleep, hibernate or hybrid sleep when I close the lid. I kind of want the fastest, but most secure option though.

Also, in the TrueCrypt options menu it says Auto dismount when entering power saving mode. Is that sleep? And is dismounting when it encrypts it again?

Sorry for being so unaware of terms.

Well, sleep is one of the power saving modes. I use TrueCrypt on some external drives but I've never used it on the OS drive.

Hopefully someone here knows and will see this thread. TrueCrypt does have a forum you can check out. If you go there and find anything useful on this issue it would be helpful if you would update this thread with what you find...

I've tried there, but because I has an Apple email address they won't let me get it verified because of spamming in the past from free email services.

Really not helpful! Thank you though and I'll keep looking
