Show desktop button, exceptions?

I really like the 'show desktop' feature in Windows 7, but have Winamp setup so that it is not in the way of other windows, and is set to be always on top.

Is there a way to prevent it from being minimized when using the show desktop button? Of course I would still like to minimize it when I click the button.

Sorry, there is no way to modify the function of the show desktop button without some serious hacking. What you can do, though, is instead of clicking that button, press Winkey+M. This minimizes all windows, not show the desktop, so it will not hide the windows set to stay on top.

it helped so much i needed this for rocketdock since i had to reopen and minimize a window to use rocketdock's autohide feature
