Hey there,

I've got two questions about my new Win7 x64:

1. Is it possible to show the desktop icons while drag and dropping on the desktop (I only see the mouse icon where the icon wil be dropped to)

2. Is it possible to restore the old searchfunction? Or how to search with advanced searchoptions??
Would it be possible to NOT save the single searches automatically?

3. Is it possible to expand the left column with the paths in the explorer. E.g. I downloaded with firefox a file to C:\downloads\firefox and next time I download something with firefox, the path is automatically opened in the mainwindow of the explorer, but I don't see the path expanded in the left column, just the "C-partition" is marked...

thanks so far!

Not it's content, I just want to see the icon I'm dragging, so I know, where to drop it.

What does 'Copy', 'paste' do for you? You can copy an icon and place it where you want to.

I have 2 computers runing windows 7 and have noted the following

on the one using win 7 prof 32 bit, the icons are shown when draging

on the one using win 7 home premium 64 bit, the icons are not displayed

I know this does not help you but perhaps it is a difference between win 7 versions

To search with advanced search option, you can either click on the See more results options that opens up Explorer, or just type in the query using Windows Advanced Query Syntax.

Advanced Query Syntax (Windows)

Go under Folder Options in Explorer and turn on "Expand to current location."
