Cheers Doug, I was not near to my max OC and the CPU was at my daily so I am sure I can beat it but I will wait until Nvidia fix it first.

OK, new Nvidia drivers were released today and I can confirm it has cured the issues with the first test and it all runs fine now. Here's a new score from me. Nowhere near my max yet, still using stock bios.

I have no idea what the driver validation is about, I'm running 337.88 and had the black screen thing.

There are some new beta drivers Steve that cure the black screen thing. They were released yesterday.

I downloaded them, I just haven't installed them yet. I'll run it again when I get them installed.

It should have helped with the black screen. I don't know what is wrong with yours then. Mine ran perfect after the new drivers and we have the same gpu.

It did help with the black screen, but that does not matter. It didn't help much with the score and that does matter.

Well why didn't you say that! Nope it makes no difference to the scores, it was just a fix for the black screen. If you want a better score you will need to overclock or buy a new gpu. The former is the cheaper option lol.

Haha yeah, lucky for me it's been pretty quiet on the benchmark scene this week.

I think I will. That run was at 4.5 on the CPU, and I can bump the gpu some more too probably.

I think I will be able to break 32K maybe 33K, not sure yet as I have not messed with it much.

@Steve, That was in the olden days when I had a winging missus to have to deal with! Now I have a lot more free time in the evening to take care of things like leaderboards and do some gaming. I might even venture out to the pub again once I get paid next week!
