How can I make my OS HDD perform better?
There's a lot of things you can do. Do you have any defrag software? I use Diskeeper 2010 Pro Premier, and it does such a great job I won't run a PC without it now. Yeah, it makes that much of a difference in performance.

Any better HDD available?
Sure there are, if your willing to pay for an SSD. All SATA drives are pretty close in performance. I'm sold on Seagate, so that drive you have would be fine by me. The prices on SSD's should be coming down shortly though. I'll wait it out until I can afford a OCZ SSD. ;)

This the result of first partition of a WDC Black SATA III 1 TB and a Hitachi Desktar SATA II 1 TB setting up as RAID0 in ICH10R.

Any ideas of this result? since i just got 5.9 under WEI.

Pity you didn't test the WD SATA 6GB/s by itself. I'm thinking of getting one and am curious.

Are any of these good. What do they mean exactly. I know this was just for your HDD. But I wanted to know what all of these were since they were on that program. I want to know how good my computer really is.

I have my WD1002FAEX as an internal data drive and the Samsung Spinpoint HD103SJ in an external esata enclosure. The spinpoint will match the WD every time. I think if I had it to over again I would buy the Samsung instead of the WD. I have 2 spinpoints in external enclosures and they do not run hot and are very quiet. Benchmarks are the only way to tell any difference.
