I just finished my new Intel i5-2500K build this afternoon, I still consider my AMD system my main so I have not updated my system specs. Items for this build
Corsair Carbide 400R
GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68
Intel i5-2500K
Scythe Mugen 3 HSF
Intel 320 series SSD ( Scratch disk for Photoshop CS5)
WD Caviar BLK 500 GB ( will be adding many more HD's when prices are not insane)
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Mushkin Joule 700W power supply (80 plus Bronze)
Gigabyte GTX560
Sony Optiarc 24X DVD Burner
Scythe Kaze Server 4CH fan controller
Scythe Slip Stream 120mm fans X5 ( plus 3 stock Corsair 120mm fans)
Kingston USB3 media card reader
Asus VH242H 24" monitor
W7 Pro
I still have some cable management to do but it is up and running stable. These K series CPU's are insanely easy to overclock and I'm currently running at 4.2 Ghz.

Great looking rig, and I love your avatar :D

I'm not sure about Rosewill, but if I remember correctly, they've been making PSUs for about 5 or 6 years, so that definitely counts in their favour.

As for the Mushkin PSU, one of my friends was looking at getting one a few months back and asked if I knew anything about them.. I'm pretty glad I kept this link bookmarked, have a look here: Review: Mushkin Enhanced Joule 800W PSU - TBCS.

Its looking good from what i read. i'll compare its features to the rosewill psu and go from there. a low price psu is what i want, but i know that's the one component i cant skimp out on.

Mushkin sells the power supplies direct from their website. I'm happy with mine and have encountered no problems. My other main desktop has a Corsair 650W unit and I did have a problem with it. It took Corsair exactly 1 month to replace it so I decided not to use a Corsair in this build.

Lol tell me that after I just fork out £110 on a 650w corsair modular PSU!
I ideally wanted an NZXT 650w psu, as they are white to match my new NZXT phantom case I also ordered, but could only find a 1200w version in the UK

Honestly, I'm still more than happy with my Cooler Master 650w.. I paid somewhere around R1200 for it in late 2010 (+/- £93 or $150, even had to pay for it over a period of two months...). :) It's still never given me any hassles; it's never whined and voltages are still as stable as they were the day I bought it (last OCCT test was about a month or two back). And I plan to stick with it for a while longer too. :p

Pic's are fuzzy but you get the idea. Debated on how much to spend and for what level of performance but in the end as this is a pure business tool I was flat out floored at the WEI scores and will re-post with the Crucial Real SSD installed. Picked this HP ProBook 4530s up for $349.00 plus another $15 for 8gb total ram.

Thanks Tom / Stalker,
I was holding out for a discounted i5 but when I thought about it the i3 was more than enough for emailing, outlook, word doc's, excel spread sheets and the like. When the email hit I jumped and only regretted that after this hit 2 days later the same package was offered with W7 professional for like $20.00 more....oh well this is a wicked little rig for the money.
