But Xarden, I'm sure we all know it's very difficult to show off PC lighting setups in pictures.... I'm sure it will look a lot better in real life!

ive just finished my rig need a new project!
Just got my Corsair H60 and fitted it. Decided to add another fan and go with a Push/Pull configuration, drawing air in from outside.

Think im a bit of a sucker for corsair! Ram, SSD, PSU and cooler

Not tested it under load, but thats low enough for me at idle.

I DID NOT enjoy doing my last build and the cable management, or lack thereof, reflects it

The Lian Li V-1020A is a lovely case - but whoever designed it needs a damn good slap. On the plus side, there are no window panels so I can't see my laziness

Your Lian Li looks like it'd be just a tad bit easier to cable manage than the model I have, PC-B70. It looks to have a couple more access holes anyway. Cable management was a pain with it and it took me a couple of weeks before I was for the most part satisfied, buying and trying different cables online to get it there.

Anyway, when you do it, have fun.

I'm one of those people who likes to look inside electronics such as stereo equipment and marvel at the layout of components and wiring job. Since then I've been into "cable management" before there was such world, or at least became common.

Anyway when I got my first PC (custom built) one of the first things I did was clean up the mess of cables and wires all over the place :shock:

The patience and attention to detail is admirable and is worth the recognition.

But tbh, my concentration has very much been elsewhere lately and by the umpteenth undo/retie/readjust - faecal matter was cracked and I simply slammed the side panels on. But most importantly - it works.

Time for my OCD clean up later

Well I tend to get mines done during the initial build. After that it's set it and forget it

That's my normal MO as a rule too, but ... yeah. It's not currently a priority.

EDIT: Got bored. This case really is a bitch to work with. Not the best job, but it's an improvement over what it was yesterday...

If they'd have moved the HDD cage 1cm to the left, you wouldn't have to remove the entire HDD cage to access the front fan filters. Which I forgot to put back on...





That 5.25 ODD bay area... what a PITA. You have to dismantle the entire bloody thing to access it. That got old, real fast. The hidden device aspect is a nice touch though. Once you've sorted it out.
