haha ''in good time'' . if i was a patient man :p.

lol, I know the feeling mate :)

i ilke that, ''The Vampire".

Between the colour and:

I'm not done just yet but it's official, this case is bloodthirsty. I already have a cut on my finger but I don't know when it happened. I'm scared.

...It seems rather apt ;)

all the other colors of the phantom scream ''star wars''. except maybe pink.

The pink can be it's feminine side :p

Here are some pics i took and managed to get into my hdd. the pictures aren't great but its something. this is a really roomy case, everything fit into my old lexa s but the components were in a tighter space. air circulation was almost non existent so i moved to a full tower. i got on on sale for 99 bucks plus free shipping so it was more than a steal, and its one of the newer models so it has usb 3 unlike the first phantoms. the cable look close to invisible on some of the shots, but they are there. i just don't know where ;) ill get a shot behind the mobo later when i get better lighting and the time.

My eyes, arrgh, they're bleeding ... no wait, that's the case!! Looks great! ;)

Some amazing rigs!

I finally got the pics off my phone of my new budget build I did for a lounge pc.

Used for Kids games/learning for my daughter, catch up tv for my partner, bit of light gaming for me and general surfing.

I used an old case which has zero options for cable management so please excuse that:cry:

I got 8gb DDR3 1600 ram for £24.95 which was awesome, tried it in my main rig in my system specs and it scores the same as my ripjaws in all benchmarks including winsat.

CPU is fantastic for the price, £83 the built in graphics play Dirt 3 on high settings at 1366x768 resolution! It scores 6300 in passmark, my 2600k scores 10000 stock so pretty impressive considering it was a third of the price.

Anyway enough babbling, here's the pics.:)

Oh P.S the HDD in the pic has now been formatted and connected as a storage drive.

The main thing I like the best. is the teaming function of the 2 onboard LAN ports.
I'm unsure completely why you would see that benefit. You should be able to easily get that throughput with a single NIC. And if you are paying for 5Mbps of service...regardless of NIC teaming I wouldn't expect you to be able to pull more than that.

If you had 2 internet providers, I could certainly see the potential for improvement, but not with a single provider.

I've got high hopes especially for my RAM. Had to run it underclocked on the Gigabyte board. Also looking forward to controlling LLC. No more vdroop which was a real problem with the UD7

Hello gemarsh welcome to Seven Forums. Awesome build! Tell me how do you like that ASRock motherboard? I was thinking about a new build recently but opted for a laptop. If i would have gone with the new build that was the board I planned to build it around.

Absolutely no cons to be found with the board or system as of yet. It has been running 24/7 for 17 days now.

The main thing I like the best. is the teaming function of the 2 onboard LAN ports.

I'm using charter cable for my ISP. I used Speedtest.net before I teamed the ports, using one LAN cable. Second test shows the results of teaming....

Be Safe
Gayle

PS...I'm paying for 5 meg service

I am also using Charter and I know for a fact that their 5 meg service got bumped up to 8mbps then to 12 mbps and now 15mbps. Charter Internet®: High Speed Internet Service - Fast & Reliable

This is my result with 1 gigabit ethernet connection. http://speedtest.net/result/1630561697.png
I am using a Docsis 3.0 modem, the Motorola Surfboard Extreme SB6120 (gigabit port) and a router that has Gigabit ports, the Netgear WNR3500L SamKnows.

Edit: Speaking of speed bumps, I need to update my System Specs to reflect the free speed bump that Charter keeps doing.

Thermalright Silver Arrow... the Tech Guy from work has one, that thing is GINORMOUS  the only thing i don't like is the fan colors but hey, as long as it keeps the temps under -2ºC :p everything should be fine...

I just wonder how loud your rig has to be, Tw33k... mine has 8 x 120mm (2 of them are in the Tt Frío) and it's really loud (nothing that i cannot live with, if i play some music, i can't hear them) but i'm actually switching my case to a Cooler Master CM Storm Enforcer with 2 x 200mm Megaflows and 1 x 120mm Sickleflow fans, i prefer a quieter case. Those Megaflows move 110CFM

What do you think?
