here's mine brand new score brand new WD 1TB hard drives but not impressed with HD score....5.9?
Am i missing something here?

Yes, unless you have a SSD drive, 5.9 is about the max that you will ever see using a SATA drive...regardless of it being 7,200 RPM or 10,000 RPM Velociraptor drives. Even most people with a RAID 0 array of SATA drives don't score above 5.9.

Would switching to a Raid0 setup make a good impact?
Totally depends upon what you do. For example, if you use it and install your OS on it and 1 of the drives fail...you lose everything. Second, you can get more file I/O speed, but do you really need it??? If you are copying massive files around all of the time...then having a RAID0 implementation really helps. But if you are just copying a handful of MP3's from folder 1 to folder 2....it's not really necessary. From most game performance testing that I have done on my box with a motherboard based RAID0 setup, game loads and such were almost identical in a RAID0 configuration....so the extra risk of having a second drive which could fail wasn't worth it based on my timing tests. And I don't copy enough huge files often enough to justify the risks of a second hard drive which could crash. So, I'm not using a RAID0 on my home box and I'm getting satisfactory performance from a single 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black drive.

I think mine should be better in some categories. For example my Memory was 7.9 but recent refresh dropped it to 7.5. Also my video card seems really low.

Any comments?

5.9 is the max? well that bites, ehh? lol
I would think if I wanted to set up RAID 0 with 2 of the same HD's you are using the score should go up to 6.0-6.2? but honestly, I'm impressed with my WD Black Caviar drives - all 3 of them.
Overall with Windows 7, compared to Vista, my computer runs amazing...except for one little issue which is beyond stupidity.
When I added an additional 4GB kit for a combined total of 8GB of memory, the system's hard drives would spin rapidly for about 5 mins, then bsod?
If I leave it at 4GB, rock stable, and no, both kits ore fine.

I got 7.9 on my 280GTX OC.

so we finally got a 7.9?
wait on both right?

as for the WEI issue you can look over my post
for SSD's to get high score they check random and seq disk bechmark...
look at my post here and smart's response here

SSD's are well known for their random read speeds which is what being weighed
(a random 16 byte i think)

and also for the HDD a sequential read which is where the HDD shines (although SSD's are getting faster....)

the point is that these are averaged and that is your score...;)

Voltage...
Perhaps you need to bump up your NB voltage....

I run 8GB of mem on a tweaked E8600 with 8GB of dominator PC8500.
Oh ya.. I had to accommodate the extra memory with a lil bit more power.
Plus, I had to specify the voltage on the RAM. "Auto" didnt cut it.

If you can tweak your board, give it a shot.

Yes I have best I can get is a 6.6. I feel like my cards not working right and it cost a ton and I wanna see what I can do.

Is it just me or is my card only working at half its potential.

Newer version of windows 7 will get you different WEI score.

This is my Windows 7 Ultimate 7100 and Windows Enterprise 7 7600 same Laptop.
I have read that the WEI score has been updated.
There is no change in my hardware.

Sorry I never noticed you were still using the RC, the scores are better in the RTM. There are ways to do an upgrade with the RTM but imo it's more trouble than it's worth, a clean install would be best.
