I found this thread by Dwarf.
Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT)

Open Cmd as administrator and type in Cmd winsat formal

It is like a Super WEI test through Cmd.
WEI posts the results all pretty with a numbering system.
This gives actual statistics.
It takes almost 5 minutes to run compared to about 1 minute for WEI.
I'm sure many of you may know of it but was new to me when I found it yesterday evening.
I posted the entire log for those unfamiliar can see- only the end is important though which can be Snipped.

I copied and pasted my results to Notepad and saved it as a baseline.

If I start having a a possible hardware problem I can run it again and see if I have any unusual readings compared to the baseline.
Seemed like a way to easily do a quick generalized hardware check- CPU, RAM and Video.
Might be handy.
At least you might know for example the video card is now only doing say 20fps and it was doing 50fps.
Give you a starting place to troubleshoot instead of "I have no clue".

I realize the tests are usable individually but all in one test seemed to be nice to have also. :D

Can't understand this as easily but thought I would post before SSD so as to have a comparison. From the looks of it though my scores are low, I'm using PC at the moment, perhaps should run test after I finished all jobs?

I have read it a few times and compared with other posts, there are comparisons where better hardware i.e a GTX 570 has a much higher score than say a HD 5770, this is also evident on i7's vs i5's e.t.c. I agree though that it is great for testing upgrade performance. My only upgrade options now are an SSD and a proper gaming monitor with low response time then this build is complete.
Yeah I put the WEI there because I saw 1 posted, took a while to put the WinSat Formal info in the scrolling window, at 1st it was massive.

I had a major problem with software on my PC ASRock OCTuner was somehow stuck at 31.5X multiplyer over a 205 clock. I couldn't open the program because PC would freeze, so I uninstalled and then got the Utillity from ASRock Website, I re-Installed it and all went back to normal. I re-Ran the WinSat Formal and I could see there were improvements in the scores.
