Hey guys,

After several days I installed W7 SP1, I noticed that shut down options weren't there. It is not like it happens all the time. That was the first time ever (I attached a screen shot). Did you any of you come across something like this? Thanks a bunch :)

You do not mention what version of Win 7 you have. If it is lower than Pro, you will not have the option to use gpedit as suggested in the previous post's link.

Have you, do you remember if you shut off any of windows features? This would be the reason why those items disappeared from your start menu.

See this tutorial:

I have Home Premium. And, I did not do anything to the operating system. I do not mess around the OS ;)

It actually happened only once. I just wanted to know if it happened to other people as well.
