Solved Shut down PC, shows black screen?

Hey there,

First off, I'm posting this on a mobile device (iOS).

Okay, so about 5 minutes ago I shut down my PC. Then it kept loading "Shutting down". Finally, I closed the lid and opened it. Now the screen is completely black, with the power button, touchpad and f12 buttons still glowing blue like usual.

How do I fix this? Should I hit the power button? If I'm correct, my PC was left off at a full battery/half full. I also created a Restore Point today.

Okay, now I have BSOD. It says "driver_power_state_failure".

Hello Super mate worth a try - take out the battery connect with just the power cord and well power up. If you can get into safe mode then it will be a start.

Hey, but yesterday I fixed it by taking out the battery and putting it back in. I was gonna tell you but I was in a hurry.

No probs mate I thought of that cos Dells have similar problems with batteries
