Shutdown button disappeared

I hope i am in the roght place - my nephew has a netbook with windows 7 and somehow has managed to lose the shutdown button (image attached) i have no idea how to get this back it`s only onhis user account that this has happened my sister has access to an admin account which i added on saturday AFTER this was noticed - is there anyway to restore the shutdown button. :confused:

Well, he didn't use those methods to remove it then.

Since it has just happened, you could also do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to undo it.

I dont even know when he has done it. what i might do is create another user account and see if the shut down button is on that and delete the other one.
