Shuting down - strange thing

Hi at all,
I have Windows 7 evaluation copy build 7100. When i try to shut down my pc there is a software or hardware problem. Pc shuts down and then turns on by itself. Very strange, atleast for me. Any ideas what could be wrong?

From control panel, click on "power options". Look at all of them, then tell your computer how you want your power plan set.

For instance, this is what I want my computer to do when I click the 'shutdown button'
