shutting down problems

after installing ie9 99% of the time when i shut windows down it comes up and says it is waiting for a program to finish most of the time it is the side bar but not all the time
iam not sure if it is ie9 that has caused the problem but it seems strange that it started all started after installing it

can any body help

I would try uninstalling IE9 to see if the problem persists.

sorry should have said i did that and it did not do it shut down was normal
we have loaded ie9 on to 2 other desk top computers and they have been fine
i would like to stick with ie9 as i like it but would like to get to the problem of the shuting down

ive now gone back to ie8 and after looking around it turns out the reason the other 2 computers are not having this problem is they are both runing vista
which both use sidebar and windows 7 does not

that is why it hangs when closing down due to not having a sidebar
it must be loading on when i install ie9
is there away of geting rid of this file with no problems ???
