Silly question about moving from HDD to SSD on retail computer

I'm going to be purchasing an Notebook, and have an Intel 330 series SSD I really want to use. The snappyness makes it too hard to go back to HDD

Do ALL notebooks on the market allow you to create restore DVDs? I know Samsung come with disks from the factory.

I can create the re-store disc and swap in my new SSD to do a clean re-install right? Yeah, silly question.

Not interested in cloning... beside, running the notebook on HDD will allow me to install Intel's "SSD Toolbox" and do a "secure erase" (cant erase SSDs used as boot drives) so its a win-win situation.

Normally it should come with a factory restore partition, from which you can create restore disks. If it doesn't, then I would contact the maker of the notebook and have them send you the restore DVDs. I did that for my HP notebook and they sent them to me for no charge.

Follow these steps to leave out the corrupting factory bloatware and get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Make your Recovery Disks first because there are sometimes problems getting certain features to work on Samsung after a Clean Reinstall. You may need to pull software off the Support downloads webpage for your model, although I'd limit it to only where features are missing after all drivers are installed from DVD and optional WIndows Updates, any missing in Device Manager are imported from Samsung webpage.

Depending on how much data is on the drive already you cold just use an Imaging program to make an image and then load that image on the SSD.
