Silly question - what version do I have?
For support on a piece of hardware I need to tell the manufacturer the W7 version and service pack I'm running. How do I find that information? Help oddly enough doesn't tell me.

Follow these steps to find out which version of Windows you have:
In the Start menu, right-click on "Computer".
Click Properties to open the System Properties window.

Click Start
Right Click Computer
Click Properties.
The information you are looking for will be at the top of the window that appears.
