When I try to install microsoft silverlight I get this error "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" I also get this message if I try to uninstall the version I have from control panel!

Why am I getting this error when its on my hard drive not a network? I think I remember this happening to other software I've tried to install in the past too...

Ill also attach a screenshot.

Any help would be great.

Thanks :)

Just choose save and slap the download onto your desktop and execute it from there. Silverlight will auto-update withi W7 once it's installed, but it's only compatible with iE and not other browsers remember.

Unfortunately this doesn't work... i think it may be a problem with Windows Installer?
If anyone has any ideas any help would be great.
