Solved Simple Network Share Problem

I have several computers on a wired home network, Win 7-64, no domains or anything fancy.
All of the computers show the others in the Network section of Windows Explorer, except one computer (Rogue) can't see my main computer (Main). Main can see Rogue fine.
I have tried everything I can find to fix this. As far as I can tell, Rogue is set up exactly the same as the others.
What is the best way to troubleshoot this?

Here is what I have tried:
All computers are updated and running Microsoft Security Essentials.
All computers are on the same Work Workgroup (I do not use Homegroups).
Added a credential on Rogue to log onto Main.
Made sure advanced sharing settings on Rogue are identical to other computers that work
A bunch of other stuff I can't remember.
Stuck a few more pins in my Bill Gates voodoo doll.

Thanks, Richard

Usually when I see this either the date/time settings are out of sync or two machines are using the same machine name.

Then of course certain anti virus software's can manifest similar problems with machines vanishing from the network.

I should ask, has this Roque machine ever been visible on the network?

What type of router set up are you using?

Thanks for your response. Yes, Rogue is visible from all the computers and Main is visible from all except Rogue. The times are set the same, no name conflicts. My router is a D-Link DIR-655 with updated firmware.

I'm using the same router as my gateway, very good router. Resetting the router might help although I've never had a problem like this from this router.

The only other thing I can think of the anti virus is somehow blocking the rogue machine from being seen.

Router reboot solved it. Doh. I don't usually need to reboot non-windows machines. Didn't even consider that. Thanks, and rep granted. I lose rep (if I had any) for such an obvious overlook.

It's a bit strange for a router to block a single machine so no rep lost is warranted. :geek:

I've seen some strange problems fixed by resetting this router so figured it might be worth a shot.
