yup, from the title. well, its not so much makin magic, more the sims.

so, i install every copy of the sims 1, house party, hot date, on holiday, unleashed, superstar, makin magic in that order.

so im fine.

until, 30 minutes later, it crashes.

then it tells me i have to uninstall it. which im not gonna do.

because i have been doing this for ages. 15 times.

and it takes AGES for each exp. pack to install anyway.

please, a solution.

BTW: if you want to purchase a computer that runs without mishaps, do not buy the somewhat crappy acer aspire 5532. ive already had firefox crash whilst writing this.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I seriously doubt the the crashes and errors are hardware related. The only thing your Acer is probably causing is the slow installation and uninstallations.

I play Sims 3 and i know the pain of reinstalling about 10 damn expansions!
DO any of the other installations works? Is it just Makin Magic that causes errors?

I had the same problem when I last had Makin' Magic for Sims. I later found out on another forum that you need to do a few patches for the Sims so it won't crash. I did this, and I got it to last for another hour and 30 minutes, so that took me up to 2 hours of playing the game. Try finding some patches for the main Sims game and for the expansions that you have at the moment, that might solve the problem.
