will someone! anyone help me with windows 7 and the sims 2???

Ive tryed downloaded it loads ov times nd it doesnt want to work.

I'm currently using windows 7 and The download completes then when I go to play it says please insert disk and retry well the disk is in ohhh Its gettin me really annoyed ive tryed everything someone please help?

just to be clear you own the retail disc(s) and not a pirated copy that's written onto a blank disc, right?
