Well first I'd suggest running Windows Updates and seeing if their are any updates available.

If that doesn't help try the Windows Vista drivers for your graphics card. See how that works. :)

I need to know two more things, are you using 32-bit or 64-bit operating system, and did you mean Mobile Intel(R) ""945"" Express Chipset Family because I cannot find Mobile Intel(R) ""45"" Express Chipset Family

When you attempted to install it? Thats odd.. doesn't do it to me.

At any rate, save it to your 'downloads' folder, right click it and click "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

Then click: Troubleshoot Program

Then check: The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now

Then just click Windows Vista SP1 or SP2

Then click: Start the program

That should let it run through completely and install.

artifacts. either there's something wrong with drivers, or there's something wrong with video adapter itself.

My only other guess is the game got somehow corrupted when installing, try reinstalling it?

If that doesn't work then I am clueless and apologize for wasting your time.

3 possibilities.

1: Intel integrated graphics (not the best gaming choice)

2: Drivers (very bad reputation)

3: Temperature (laptops need proper air flow for cooling)
