Solved Since My Acer Aspire Computer is gone....

Would I be able to use the old hardrive that was on my Acer Aspire m1500 Computer on another Computer once I get a tower, if so how would the process work?

Hello Rawad,

Sure you could use the drive in your other computer if you like.

The old drive will be a 2.5" drive, so you would need a 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapter if your tower doesn't have a 2.5" bay for it, or rig something up to hold it securely in-place in the tower.

Afterwards, you could format the drive and use it how you like.

Yeah, reformat it and use it as a data drive.

Btw: I always use Velcro dots to fix 2.5" disks in a 3.5" bay.

Yep, you wouldn't be able to run the OEM OS on a different PC like that anyways, so it would be better to format it after backing up anything that you do not want to lose on it first.
