hi guys i m new to the forum and i hope i havent posted this thread in a wrong place or smth.

I recently started using single click to open an item in windows instead of regular double click. I find it pretty useful except for its a little bit slow! It takes roughly 1 sec longer to open a folder or a file in comparison to regular double click.

Why does windows make that delay? Is there maybe some registry hack to enhance the speed of single click in windows?

In case someone didnt understand what click i m talking about here s the pic:

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried also changing the Underline option to "Underline icon titles consistent with my browser?" Why don't you see if that makes a difference? You can always change it back if you don't like it.
