Solved Skyrim saves corrupt help!

so i was having problems with my skyrim game stuttering hella lot in game, so i decided to uninstall it. when i reinstalled it, then went to go play it, when i load from a save, it crashes to desktop. how can i fix this? or do i have to redo all my progress.....

I had this issue when I tried to play save games (before update) after updating Skyrim. I had to delete all my save games and start over.

Is this the Steam version?

I've had plenty of updates and none required me to restart the game from the beginning.

If this is the Steam version, where you keeping it off-line while playing?

This happened to me shortly after Skyrim was released so maybe the newer versions of the game allow you play saves from a previous version.
I had auto update turned off, yet Steam still updated Skyrim, breaking my saves.
