Hello, when i try to put my w7 to sleep, it only shuts off the screen, pressing a key it turns on again. Then i put it to sleep again and only that second time it works. I intalled all the updates avalaible.

I don't have any unsual app running. I did a clean install last week. I had this problem on another install and found an app was causing it but i don't use that app anymore so.. Dunno! Hope you can help me find, thanks.

Hi,
Use Clean boot,
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Click Start and type in the search box,
msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
Repeat the screen shots,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here if you need assistance.

I found out that while the device AC is UNplugged, this does not happen. Not it has to do with power settings, not any app. Yet i checked power profiles & set AC the same as Battery profile, which includes disabling wake timers, yet i get the same issue..

Run the command powercfg \energy and view the report. It might provide a clue.

Look for items "Device not Entering Suspend"

Note: You might need to move the report from C:\Windows\system32\energy-report.html to be able to read it using your browser.
