I am trying to get my PC to be woken from sleep by the keyboard. My keyboard and mouse are both USB devices so I have gone into my bios to enable USB devices to wake PC from sleep.

Now though my PC wont go into sleep mode all it does is breifly enter sleep mode then straight away comes back out of it, is there any thing that can be done to get around this problem.

From what I can gather there is no fix for this, but as there are some very knowledgeable people on this forum I thought I would ask.

Thanks the mouse isn't causing the problems it is the keyboard. I thought it was going to be the mouse so tried that first but the PC wouldn't go to sleep, then had both unplugged which did send it to sleep. Not going to bother unplugging and plugging them both in each time I want to wake my PC upit's much easier to just press the power button.

Have you another keyboard to try? IMO

No this be the only keyboard I now have, I gave my old non USB keyboard away, without realising that I would need to when I do a fresh install so that I could type the size of the partition instead of using the stupid arrow keys.
