Good Morning everybody,

I have a big issue with windows 7 ! Actually it's more annoying than big...

I installed windows 7 and everything was fine :D
But then I went away from the computer for let's say 10 mins, so the computer went to sleep... No problem until then.
When I moved the mouse to turn windows back on, I got a black screen, then a windows 7 background and that was it. Could not retrieve my desk top. I reinstalled it. I did ctrl+alt+supp. I waited 15 mins. I selected settings for the computers never go to sleep or turn the screen black. Nothing helped. I have to manually turn off the computer then turn it back on...

Please help !

Try flashing your BIOS to the latest version and updating drivers for your NIC, video, audio, antivirus....

Power state transition problems are almost always caused by problems in the BIOS or bugs in drivers. Virtually nothing else in the system actually knows that it has gone to sleep and woken up. Only the lowest levels of the OS and the drivers have to do things differently to cope with power state changes.
