Hey all,

Just bought another GTX 570 for my rig which i have SLI'd up with my other 570. Seems to run fine BUT seems everytime i load up a game, the PSU starts marking a loud buzzing noise inside (sounds like vibration). Only happens when in a game though. PSU by the way is an OCZ 1000W ZX Modular PSU. If i leave either card in by themselves but when both are connected up, the buzzing occurs.

If anyone has any ideas, would b greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

According to this reviewOCZ ZX 1000W Review on page three once test 7 started, a whine started, and got louder as the load increased....but a whine is not the same as a buzz/vibration....I would see how good that 5 year warranty really is.....

I woulld have to agree with the above, a whin suggest to me fan noise. Where as a buzzing sound would seem to be more electronic in nature. Fabe

It would appear adding the 2nd card is over taxing your PSU, although it should handle it like a breeze. As suggested, try their warranty before you fry something in the PC. Whine would be a fan issue, but buzzing is likely the transformer or caps in the PSU.
