Slip streaming SP1 etc?

1. Is it possible to slip stream SP1 and all W7 Pro 32bit important/security updates on a single DVD, using Brink's tutorial

It is simpler to start with installation media that already includes SP1. The media is readily available.

Then you could use one of several tools to integrate updates into the media.

Update your Win 7 installation media.

Thanks for the link. Let me download W7 slip streamed SP1 than shall try to integrate them all before burning.

You can use Update your Win 7 installation media.


Rename or delete the Drivers.7z file from the BIN folder before running 7UPv4.cmd

1. Double click the bin folder




2. Rename or delete the Drivers.7z file




3. Run as Admin on EXTRACT-ISO.cmd. It will ask you to browse to your iso and select where to extract it.

4. Run as admin on 7UPv44.cmd and it will ask you to browse to the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Since years each time I open command prompt get this

Alexey, from posts #6 and #8, it looks like you're opening a command prompt window and typing in the *.cmd names at the keyboard. That's not the way SIW2's instructions tell you to do it. You're getting the unknown command error because you're not in the extracted directory.

Go back and reread the instructions in SIW2's link in post #5.

It will ask which edition you want to update. You can select one of the editiuons or type * for all editions.

It takes a while to mount the image and extract then integrate the updates.

Then it will ask if you want to unmount the image - answer Y

It will tell you when it has finished.

After that you can create an iso if you wish. It might not fit on a single layer dvd. Most people nowadays create bootable stick.
