Slow DL speed

My upload speeds seem fine in Windows 7, but when I'm downloading a game from Steam, where speeds used to be 400-700KB/s, speeds are now getting no higher than 50-100 KB/s. Is there anything I can do? Do I need a driver for something?

Is it only the games that are slow to download? what is the rated download speed from your ISP? go to speedtest.net and run it to get your current dl speed.

If it is only slow on the games, we have to do one thing.
If slow allover another

My DL speed was 1.86 MB/s, upload was .97 MB/s, and ping was 56. But all downloads seem slower than they were in XP, Steam just seems to be having the most problems.
