I do recommend removing all the programs you downloaded that aren't legit . That is where you got your virus from.

Can you rescan your pc with MSE

I'm currently scanning with ESET and will zip the files you said. I'll get back to you tomorrow (it's 11pm over here) for the MSE scan

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem... I thought it had something to do with the newest Windows 7 patch...

Wow I just followed Celthric's thread and he was completely right about the windows update. I removed it and everything works fine now!! I guess I'm in the clear with all the virus problems as well then. It's a terrible coincidence that Windows would issue a faulty update the day I get a virus.... I'm just glad that Celthric posted before I wiped my computer.
