Windows 7
Hi there
Buenos tardes

I think the problem is with the winamp site not with the Internet per se -- If a site has a slow connection you can't do anything about it.

Try downloading something from any other site that you know has a decent conncetion -- microsoft perhaps.

Cheers

My Computer

OS
Windows 7
I've ran every build since 7068, and haven't had ANY issues with speed.

Under 7201 (and 7127, 7100, etc) I get Megs/sec, which is what my connection should be pumping out.

It's more than likely related to driver issue in relation to your ethernet controller. I'd visit the manuf website and see if there is a Win7 beta driver available or grab the newest Vista driver (either 32 or 64 bit depending what your running) and attempt to install it.

In other words, your slow internet isnt a bug within Win7 otherwise I wouldn't be able to pull in at 3 megs a sec.

Try this, it improved my pc but not much

Click the start button
Picture1.png

then type in the start menu system.ini
Picture2.png
in the system.ini copy this

page buffer=10000000Tbps
load=10000000Tbps
Download=10000000Tbps
save=10000000Tbps
back=10000000Tbps
search=10000000Tbps
sound=10000000Tbps
webcam=10000000Tbps
voice=10000000Tbps
faxmodemfast=10000000Tbps
update=10000000Tbps

Tbps means Tera bytes per second which means the internet speed will improve

Second method:
If it did not work try this other method

1-go to run
2-type gpedit.msc
3-expand the administrative templates
4-expand the network
5-select Qos Packet Scheduler
6-choose limit reservable bandwidth
7-enable it and put 0 in the bandwidth limit
8-click apply and ok

hope this helps!!
