every morning, or after being idle for awhile, when I go to speedtest I am at 1.5 =/- Mbps. If I then go to the system tray and disconnect then reconnect to my network, I get speeds of 50+ Mbps. It will stay this way as long as I use the PC. If I am idle for too long - not sure but a few hours - the speed drops again.
I am currently using a t-llink wn723N USB adapter, but I have several others and they all have the same issue. So I assume it is not the adapter.
USB power settings are set to "selective suspend" enabled. I have tried disabled but it doesn't seem to do anything.
My main router is on another floor and is a D-Link AC1200
