Slow internet

Now, my computer's internet goes fairly fast. However, when my sister turns on hers, and starts to download files, my internet level starts to drop significantly. I, then, start to experience connection, which is annoying. I heard something about limiting bandwidth, however, I can't find that on my router's main page.

BTW, I have a windows 7 computer, I am just using an old pic.

hi your speed looks ok on the router settings . i have four pc on my router 2 wireless 2 wired, now if all pc are downloading big files or streaming tv/ video we too do experience less bandwidth.

have you had a look at the settings for the network?(in my pic) left click the wireless/wired connection icon in taskbar then click open network sharing center click on connections.

check your cables and the ADSL box to the router i had to change mine last week because of a fault with connection/speed.

also see if you can change the wireless channel to see if speed increases to the pc
