Slow Internet

Please read the entire post.

If you are having this problem, the solution I found was reinstalling Windows 7. If you don't want to do this, then here's a list of all the solutions posted by users:

-Run Malwarebits
-Run Ccleaner
-Open the comand prompt as an administrator and type sfc /scannow

:info: I've been having this problem for two weeks now. The Internet connection is super slow all of the sudden!

I have three computers connected to the same network but only mine is slow as hell!

This problem happens from time to time, but it only lasts for a few hours.

The pages take a very long time to load. For example, to load the page so I can post this post, I was able to see the BBCode behind the smilies, it showed the code instead of the picture.

When I visit YouTube, just to see a video I have to refresh the page like 5 times just so it doesn't show me an error and play the video.

I usually use Google Chrome, but I've tried Internet Explorer and Firefox and the connection speed doesn't change. I am now using Opera because of its turbo feature that helps to load the pages.

Please give me a solution!

This is my first post. If you want to know my pc specs, then please check my profile. Please, if you are going to answer then read the entire post. Sorry for my English, I'm Portuguese...

EDIT: This copy of Windows 7 is fresh, I installed it 2 weeks ago

I would second running Malwarebytes. It should help out a lot especially when used with CCleaner. Let us know what happens!

Can you open up an Elevated Command Prompt by running command prompt as administrator and running a systen scan by typing sfc /scannow in the prompt and see if windows has any integrity violations.

Doin it right now. Hope it works.

I really dont want to go to my last resource: reinstalling windows!

Edit: Didn't work, it said that it found some errors that it could not fix and savedn an error report in some file called CBS.log and I cant find that file. Last night I felt like installing Ubuntu and I did it. mThe most amazing thing is that in Ubuntu the internet isnt slow as hell!! I think I WILL reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate x32 bit
