Hoping for some help with my slow pc after new custom build.

Every action I take (typing, mouse clicking, opening folder, opening / closing programs, etc) there is a delay from anywhere between 3 seconds and one minute. It only seems to process something after a single click noise from inside the case. I'm not sure what is making the noise.

I have installed all updates and drivers and checked and tested CPU, graphics card, RAM and all seem to be working correctly.

All components are brand new.

I am not sure how I can diagnose this issue so any help is appreciated.

Sounds like it may be your hard drive. Open the case and listen, see if you can identify where it's coming from.
Hard drives should be relatively quiet. If it's clicking, back it up now then replace it and restore the backup.
