A stray crash dump is never enough. I wonder how you missed the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions .

Anyway, download and install Asmedia USB3.0 Controller Driver V1.16.10.0 for Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL) from Motherboards - P9X79 PRO - ASUS and see how it goes. Let us know.

Doesnt seem to work either :/ should be noted that this problem started when i changed my graphicscard. Went from an AMD 7950 to a gtx 970. Tried deleting the drivers from AMD though, but that didnt work either. Any ideas?

Only one idea from my part ... changing a graphics card cannot cause a wake-up failure to asmedia usb3.
