Sluggish Right-Click Response - 64bit Win7 Pro

It doesn't seem to matter which app I'm in, when I right-click on something, there is a delay, sometimes running into several seconds. Eventually, I get a response but it's irritating.
My system is Core i7 w/16GB RAM, 3 TB HDD space mapped onto 3 logical drives, 23 Mb Internet download speeds, current antivirus and current Microsoft updates.

Does anyone know what the cause might be or where to look?

Have you tried clean boot ?
Clean boot,
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Click Start and type in the search box,
msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
Repeat the screen shots,
