Ive been running 7 on dual boot for about 2 weeks now. so far Ive not come across anything I don't like about 7 apart from 1 thing. Every time I plug a USB device in or insert a memory card into the card reader, the screen blanks out a few times. I know this is only a minor problem but it does my head in. Is there a fix?? My Graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6800XT which is being replaced with a ASUS EN9800GT when I can be bothered to do it.

Do you have the latest graphics drivers from nvidia?
This definitely sounds like a graphics issue.

You've got yourself quite a nice rig there, Avinitlarge. With one exception: Your power supply.

When you factor in your CPU (AMD Athlon 64 3200+), Graphics (Asus EN9800GT 1Gb), Sound (Creative Soundblaster Live 24 Bit), 6 Fans, and your 2 hard drives, I think that maybe a 450W Power Supply may not be enough.

If you can, try using a higher-rated power supply and see if this problem comes back. If you do not have access to another power supply then unplug your graphics card and sound card and use the onboard vga and sound. If you no longer have a problem, then re-insert your graphics and sound. If the problem comes back, then you need to get yourself a larger power supply.

Ive only just got round to sorting it out, Tried the drivers from Omega and its fine now. I did try a higher powered PSU 1st but it made no difference
