smb missing?

im trying to network my windows 7 pc to fedora laptop.
on win 7 in programs and features theres no smb cifs, so i cant turn on or of.
any help appreciated

tried and still no sign of it in program and features and no network to fedora

Hi

the entry that appears in the small Windows Features box is part of the install.... and as such should be there with only the option to turn it on/off....
(there are times when its completely empty/blank sure sign of corruption)
i suggest you opt for a repair install NO loss of data
