2 questions :

1. ) I had sandboxie installed once and found it hard to use. The native Help section was no help. I uninstalled it after failing to find a tutorial I could use from the net.
Would some one with first hand experience provide me with a link for a good tutorial that I can understand ?

2.) I understand the primary reason of using Sandboxie.
In light of lack of Q&A about Sandboxie in any forums, i cannot help to think it is NOT widely used.
That comes to this : what is the downside of Sandboxie ?

Thank you.

The tutorial on their site isn't too bad, you just have to dig through it to find the info you are looking for.

If you have a question the users on the forum and the author are both very good at helping you to do what you want to do:

With Sandboxie version 3.46 is the cuttoff, so to speak. That's where I stopped upgrading just because after that at unspecified intervals it calls home to test your license. Also the author can "kill" your registration if he so desires. I don't use it as much as I used to. Mainly to run a browser "sandboxed" now and then. I still think it's better than Returnil type solutions that depend on a reboot to undo what malware did. If it's "good" malware, you won't be booting after running it anyway. :(
