Does anyone know if there is a shortcut to open the snipping tool? Like the shortcut - Windows+S on OneNote 2007 for a screen capture if you've ever used it.

Windows Key, then SN and then hit enter

Why not just pin it to your taskbar and one click, if you have it set to one-click, it's activated.

Both of your posts together gave me a good answer: pin it to the taskbar and then just use windows+# to open it, good thinking guys!

Because when you close it you have a lone icon sitting in the middle of your taskbar items.

They should just enhance the previous Quick Launch. To do all those special things that pinned programs do now.

Yeah, eh, I guess. That happens with different pinned items, so they haven't perfected the stupid taskbar, doesn't mean it sucks to pin items to the taskbar. I guess it's all in how you look at it. Doesn't really bother me, I'll just slide it back real quick. I suppose it would bother some.

Pinning an item to the taskbar is the same thing as having a quicklaunch bar except it doesn't suck and get stuck where you don't want it.

Just like Vista, you can assign KB shortcuts to apps.

I currently have CTRL + ALT + Z assigned to Snipping tool - I have been doing this for literally years, since I first found out I could *successfully* do this with shortcuts.
