Snipping Tool

My snipping tool is acting up. I click the icon (on task bar) and it starts to glow a reddish colour and flashes slowly. Maybe about 1/2 a minute later, the snipping tool window opens and then again, sometimes it doesn't open at all. I was trying to snip an email pic in Outlook.

I had to leave the office here because I used foul language and had to chill out a bit. I use this tool alot.

So please tell me you know what the problem is.

I have moved it to my start menu and so far so good, but I would like to have it on my taskbar.

I just posted my request and my task bar started fluttering, vibrating on and off. It has stopped now. Do you think the problem is with that bar down there. I installed Windows7 2 days ago. Brand new and have the disc as well.

Hello Earth, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm not sure if this is the problem or not, but as a test, uncheck the Vvsual effect settings in the yellow tip box under step 5 in the tutorial below to see if that may help any with this.

If not, then see if turning Tablet PC Components off and on in Windows Features may be able to reset it for you.

I snipped here and there and so far, so good. I thank you very much and I sure hope it doesn't act up again. BTW..I got this forum link from Community Feedback's administrator JudyC..she recommended to come here.
