Solved So I am looking for a GPU upgrade, help me decide.

Currently I have a grforce gtx 560 1gb GPU, and in january I am looking to upgrade it, my pc has a 450 watt psu, not sure if it has 1 or 2 pci-e power conncetors, I know it has at least one or else the current videocard I have wouldn't be working.

I'll have a budget of about 400 Canadian or so for this card, What Nvidia card do you suggest, and how much more powerful is it compared to what I am currently using. You may ask why not Amd/ati? its simple really, amd/ati cards always seem to have random problems with too many games so I been staying away from them for that simple reason. I know the hardware is good the problem is the software that runs it, the drivers just aren't as good as the ones nvidia cards use.

Any help with this be apprecated. Also the stores I would be ordering this from are: https://www.mikescomputershop.com or http://www.ncix.com/ so if it is a card they sell there it'd be perfect.

Thanks for any and all help with this, because I don't really know what to look for, to get a pretty good upgrade in my budget.

All I could suggest right now is an EVGA GTX 750Ti, you can use a GTX 760 but that'll push your PSU to its limit

750 Ti? i'll look into it, note that I am willing to buy a new psu as well if needed. Hm according to comparasons the card I have now is better than a 750 ti performance wise. Hmm the 970 looks good and is in my price range, and actually uses less power than what I am using now. Problem is my pc only has pci-e 2.0 16x (i think i dunno how to check), and its bus is pci-e 3.0 16x, how much is this gonna hurt it I wonder and will it even work?

Also, will my cpu a i5-2310 bottleneck this card? or am I good?

PCI-Es are backwards compatible, a PCI-E 3.0 card will degrade it's performance slightly that you won't even notice it. If you want the 970 then go for it! You're fine with your processor but expect a slight bottleneck.

The upper-mid range card to have right now is a GTX970; nothing else even comes close. Upgrade your PSU if you must, but, the search should start and stop with the GTX970!
