So I get a call from Microsoft...
I really wanted to "play" with this person but I was in the supermarket and didn't have the time.
Call was from an unknown number. He said he was from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was using Windows :roflmao:

I got one of those calls this morning, told me he was getting lots of problems coming from my computer. He sounded like he had a bad cough as every so often he'd get a coughing fit.
He asked me if I'd noticed any errors on my computer, I asked him which one, he said the computer you have and I asked again which one, he put the phone down, how very rude of him.

I like the ol' "I have a mac" scenario
They always hang up first as well
Obviously they didn't pass their customer service training in helping customers "fix" their machines

I did that once. Confused the poor offspring of questionable parentage for a bit until he finally hung up. I guess they didn't include that potential scenario in his script.

Try it the next time you get a call. If you don't want or have time to play with them, say something like, "Thank God you called! I can't my stupid Win 8 tablet to turn on."

I just don't answer unknown numbers at all. It seems to me that I never get those calls because my voicemails are mostly just a short pause with no sound. If they do call though, Im going to do the whole "I have a different OS" thing and "Just go away faker."

I never actually answered a number that showed Unknown or private or a area code I didn't know anyone there,
Possibly I'm missing out on some fun ?
If I do it's usually just some far left or far right political junk,
If I answer and no response for 4-5 seconds by the time they respond I've already hung up,
Cheers.
