So many things going wrong...

Okay, my story starts a few days ago. Previously I was running OEM XP SP3 (32 bit) with some old hardware P5GC-MX mobo, E2160 CPU) so when I found out that my school was selling upgrade copies of Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) for 75AUD, I jumped at the chance. I also thought this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade my hardware. I bought an i5-750 and 4gb of DDR3 RAM and a P7P55-LX mobo, to tie it all together. When Min 7 came on the mail a few days ago, I installed all my hardware, and performed a clean install of Win 7 with the upgrade media (I know, not technically allowed, but because XP was OEM...).

Everything was then working perfectly. I activated Win 7 successfully and was setting up all my old programs and everything when things started crashing. First Spybot, then Chrome, then Steam; all the while I kept getting alerts saying that a file was corrupt but win 7 repaired it. This crashing kept on going and then Windows Explorer crashed. Like every 3 seconds, it crashed. I hard reset my PC then. When I tried to boot it up again, I got the message: BOOTMGR is missing. I put in my Win7 disc and booted from there, hoping to repair my PC. The system recovery tool ran for about 5 minutes before it told me it was successful. I rebooted my system and this time I got the message that Min7 wanted to check C: for errors (or something along those lines). So I watched while it went through all these files, deleting most of the ones it came across. It restarted, BOOTMR error. Run repair tools, checking C:

I realized I was going to be in this loop forever, so I decided to cut my losses and try and do another clean install on my PC. It got up to Expanding Windows files before I got an error message saying that some files were corrupt or missing and that I should make sure that all required install files are present. Mind you, this is an official MS install disk, I had no part in burning it or anything.

I attempted clean installing it a few more times, I always got the same error message. Sometimes though, I got to a screen which asked me which version of Windows I wanted to install (All the options were there, from Home to Ultimate).

Now though, I boot from the install DVD and try and install. I get the message A required CD/DVD driver device driver is missing blah blah blah. It prompted me to browse for the drivers. If I don't boot from DVD, I still get BOOTMGR is missing (though according to the install disk, I have no versions of Windows installed)

And that is where I'm up to. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you will need to format the Hard drive completely and then do a fresh install. Sounds to me like you are trying to install over the previous installation.
